pets
Isaacs birthday was monday, he turned 5. I wanted to do something memorable for him with out throwing a party, so far I have been unsuccessful. I wanted to get him a lizard, as he loves small animals and it could be caged. The up front price is so expensive, and once we got there the lady talked us into a snake. They were really cool! Todd doesnt like pets at all, so this causes him to come up with many lame excuses every time an animal is mentioned. It must be hard work to do it, I dont think I could come up as many as he has. It is probably more work for him to keep us from having a pet as it would be for him to let us have one. But the one thing that does bother me is the initial investment. So, I now have a new drive to go to yard sales...I am always seeing tanks and cages at them.
Sprained my ankle at Pump it Up last night. I was hoping after sleeping and being off it , it would be much better. Nope, I can limp around on it, so I have had worse but, I hate being this slow. I desperately needed to mow the grass, I enjoy it and I cut it like a fairway green. But it looks like Todd will have to, and he will change the setting on the hight. I can cut it real short because I walk backwards and it mulches without leaving any clumps. Oh well, its just for one week. It is weird, I have no place I have to go untill friday. Small groups and choir is over. Need to get the kids into something while I have a chance. Maybe gymnastics and Karate. Stupid truck! Two years ago we put a transmission in it, and we get to again...if were lucky it will only cost us $1,300. I had to rent a peice of crap to drive around in for a week for the bargin price of $189.00. I really dont understand why someone would buy a cheap car new that will fall apart before one year. Why not spend the same amount of money and get an expensive used car that will last because it is made well??? Any one want to buy a Suburban with a new transmission and a 23ft camper for the bargin price of 10,500? jen at 5/25/2005 11:06:00 AM 0 comments Today
High school small groups is here tonight. The last time they came over was for a fun night and they played competative DDR. We even have brackets to find the winner. The girl with the worst ADHD won the tourney, and she had never played before. Big surprise! Anyway, they ALL wanted to come here again since we are finished with the book "Every Young Womens Battle" and we still have two weeks to go till the end of the year and I wonder why. On a side note....today is National Day of Prayer. So they might be alittle surprised when I mention we will be praying for our country before we dance to the song "In The Navy".

The Girls of Integrity conference went well,I had a headache for 4 days after. Could it be to many highschoolers for to long a time? It was fun, stressful, and I am sure worthwhile.
Glorys birthday party was fun. Wish I could put pictures in here ,that would be cool. Masters bible studies are over for the summer(April 19). High school small groups will be over May 18. Emilys choir rehersals will be over May 12, with the concluding performance of Jailhouse Rock on Mat 15th at 6:00 at CFC. It will be great!!! So bring your kids and yourself and show up, its free and there will be snacks afterward. Not real sure when V-ball is over. Then I will have most of my evenings free. Isaac's birthday is May 23, on a monday,so I guess we'll do something the 22nd in the evening. I am going to try to help "kidnap" the 8th grade girls that will be freshmen this next coming school year during the 10:40 service at church, not really sure what that intails, but Summer ask me to,so what can I do? I dont have any excuse not to! Now that stuff is calming down I should be able to update this blog more often. I am sure your all cheering and clapping for joy...(cheer and clap for joy!) jen at 5/02/2005 08:33:00 AM 0 comments
